Skogsy handmade Baby Saguaro.
The Baby Saguaro was made to be a pocket pen that is comfortable to use. The grip section is wider than most mass-produced pocket pens, and the length is slightly shorter when the cap is posted. The cap will friction-post on the barrel, making it quick and convenient. When closed, it is even shorter than the popular Kaweco Sport pocket pen.
The Baby Saguaro pocket pen is designed to fit a #6 nib, and a standard international short cartridge.
The material is Black Canvas Micarta.
Micarta is a porous material that will patina over time. This means that it is also prone to staining, as there are exposed cotton fibers in the resin. Some users, especially in dry climates, may notice some amount of nib dry-out because of the porous nature of the material. Rinsing the inside of the cap with water can help alleviate this tendency for a few days. Micarta is also very durable and can be washed with soap and water as needed.
